We have arrived!!

Craig and I woke up Wednesday morning and we both had the sniffles. Both our colds got progressively worse on the road. The 16 hours in the car every day and all the fast food did not help at all either.

But we made it!

1943 miles.... 2 time zones and we are SAFE! And unloaded!!

Ha ha.. And yes the shoes were the FIRST thing to get packed!
Wednesday we had professional movers load us. When the got the truck 1/2 way loaded we both started to panic a little we had SO MUCH stuff that was still not on the truck

But they got it all on and we were on our way.

Craig and I drove to southern California to spend the night with his sister Marie that then joined us on our journey to drive the penske truck.

Marie was AMAZING through this whole move situation, she set up the truck, movers and even drove it to Kansas for us. It all would not have been possible without her and we are so thankful.

The drive was BEAUTIFUL!!

This was Daisy keeping a close eye on me the whole time.....

But she took a little nap

And I got pulled over for speeding in Texas

It was just a warning and I was not even speeding I was only doing 3 miles over the speed limit...

Funny thing is what is the first thing you do when you see lights behind you?

Pull out lip gloss?

Yep I guess it worked though....

So we are in Kansas safe and sound. All our stuff is moved in and we so happy to be here. Its so amazing how things work out.

We just knew it would all work out and it did!

Because the move happened so fast we really did not have lots of time to figure things out so I posted all the things we were not keeping on Craigslist for sale and almost EVERYTHING went. Which was AWESOME there was an AMAZING hutch and buffet that I loved (mom you would have loved them too) but I got a great deal on both of them and I was able to sell one of them on short notice (they were both HUGE and bulky and took at least 2 big guys to move). The other one our neighbor who also happens to be our property manager wanted to purchase but when she talked to her husband he said they could not afford it. It was the biggest of the 2 pieces so when it did not sell I called her and we were able to leave it for her.

She was SO thankful that she is giving us 1/2 our February rent back!! How cool is that??

So we are slowly unpacking and the doctors appointments start on Wednesday. We meet with the radiology oncologist on Wednesday and the medical Oncologist on Friday.

From what they have explained we will meet them this week they have both reviewed the files and then treatment will start next week based on their recommendations.

Its all good. Craig is sick with a cold right now so chemo this week would be out of the question anyways and this way he will at least get some time it at work before he gets sick from chemo again.

I am so thankful everything has gone so quick! I have had some great friends (Hi Aly, and Amber) stop by to visit already. Even Craig has agreed to have a game night!

Things are good and we are blessed!

SO YAY! We are here and our new adventure begins!
